This years bizarre Annapolis tradition was as hot as ever!
The freshman class of Seamen mounted the greased up monument to get a fancy new hat!
I wish I was making this up…
The 21 foot monument was coated in about 50 pounds of lard, and took 2 hours to complete this year. The fastest time recorded was 1 minute and 30 seconds in 1969 and the longest recorded time was 4 hours in 1995.
19 year old Andrew Craig came out on top and got the honor of snatching the hat off the tip.
This looks just like an Abercrombie quarterly.
